Last night was the first time we have had a super moon with a lunar eclipse since 1983. The next time that this astrological phenomenon will occur again is in the year 2033. Because this was such a rare occurrence, Gabriela and I went to Venice beach to try to observe the moon in all its glory with as little light pollution as possible. Despite our efforts, we weren’t able to really see the moon in all its glory. I did however get some cool long exposure shots of the city lights, pier and the beach flora/fauna.
